Madrid, Ethiopia (Europa Press)-Berlin police reported that 69 people were arrested during Sunday’s horizontal ideological movement to protest the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus, and about 500 people gathered in the German capital.
The assistants gathered in front of the Ministry of Health headquarters at 2:00 pm to protest, but according to the police, the mouths and noses of some participants were not covered, and the safe distance was not observed.
Although the organizers and the police demanded to follow the rules, the participants still did not follow the rules, so they began to arrest people who did not have masks or refused to separate for safety reasons.
Some assistants attacked the police and tried to release the arrested. Several others were injured, including an officer who was kicked in the chest.
The police report that 24 criminal files have been opened for assaults, attempts to release detainees, insults or non-compliance with the Infection Protection Measures Regulations. As many as 880 police officers participated in the operation.
